Safe Harbor Conference
19 November 2009A delegation from CNIL attended the annual Safe Harbor Conference organized in Washington D.C., USA, from November 15 to November 18 by the US Department of Commerce.
This conference gathered more than 200 people from US companies, law firms and administrations. American companies and law firms have shown a great interest in BCRs (Binding Corporate Rules) as a legal instrument to transfer personal data with a group of firms and recognized the initiatives taken by CNIL in this regard (in particular the “BCR clubs”).
